Hello. I’m Samantha! Woman behind the camera of L&R Photography. Based out of Ankeny/Des Moines, IA but travel is always welcome + encouraged. I specialize in couples, children & families, but love to dabble in almost everything under the sun. I’m passionate about capturing real, raw & images full of emotions. Wether i’m cracking corny jokes to make you smile, or weird noises to get kids’ attentions, I enjoy the small things that come into sessions. I put my whole heart into every single session & I promise you won’t leave without feeling like you’ve known me for years.

Little about me;
I have a son named Leo & a daughter named Renlee, hence L&R! Really wasn’t till the birth of my oldest I bought a DSLR & instantly fell in love! In love with learning and capturing every single little milestone, detail & life long photos, of not only my children, but my clients as well. Fast forward a few years, this hobby/passion of mine became a full time career & I look forward to every single shoot and person I meet along the way. I enjoy reading, house plants, live music, iced coffee, my fur babies, thrifting & following my own children around with my phone or camera 24/7.
